How Often Should You Publish a Post for Your Company Blog

Maintaining a company blog is a great way to generate leads and conversions. If you are able to consistently publish new content, you will able to attract a number of visitors. But the question is, how many blog posts should you publish per week or per month? Or should you blog daily? To answer these questions, I have curated statistics from HubSpot to help you decide:


On website traffic
  1. Companies get 3.5x more traffic if they publish more than 16 blog posts per month than those companies that only publish 0-4 blog posts per month.
  2. Whether you are a B2B or B2C company, you get more inbound traffic to your site.
On lead generation
  1. Companies get 4.5x more traffic if they publish more than 16 blog posts per month than those companies that only publish 0-4 blog posts per month.
  2. Whether you are a B2B or B2C company, you get more inbound leads to your site.

Based on the above-mentioned statistics, the "ideal" number of blog posts you should publish in your company blog is 4 posts per week, or a total of 16 blog posts per month.

But in my freelance writing site, I'm only starting out to publish 1 blog post per week or a total of 4 blogs per month, since I have currently a full-time day job and I manage 4 more other blogs.
